RODNEY DARR has played in numerous bands as a drummer and lead vocalist since 1978 before finding his home with Trouble Shooter in 1984. A drumming front man is definitely something unique in today's demanding entertainment market. BRUCE DARR is a Trouble Shooter original. His guitar skills are instrumental to this band, not to mention his lead and back-up vocals and his knack for picking hit songs before they are released. This gives Trouble Shooter the advantage of a current song list that is constantly changing.
DENNIS OVERLAND is yet another Trouble Shooter original member who plays bass guitar and sings back-up vocals. Along with his playing, Dennis' equipment knowledge is essential to this band. Trouble Shooter travels with its own production that is versatile enough to use for a street dance with 3000 people, or can be scaled down to accommodate a smaller private wedding reception. BRUCE GREENWOOD played with this band from 1989 to 1993. Trouble Shooter is glad to have his piano, guitar and vocal skills back again as of August 1998. His vocal range allows this band to add some 80's and 90's rock that has given Trouble Shooter the edge to remain successful.

Since their inception in 1984, Trouble Shooter has performed in a 14 state area including 2 Canadian provinces and a number of competitive Nashville showcases. Their busy schedule (as many as 300+ nights per year) has kept them up with current song selections, as well as cutting two CDs of their own. Both were well received by their fans as well as a number of Midwest radio stations. Their second CD "Borderline" was a nominee for "Country Recording of the Year" at the Minnesota Music Awards.

Their hard work and dedication has landed them many contracts with national acts:

  • Martina McBride
  • Kenny Chesney
  • Rhett Akins
  • Mark Chestnut
  • Sawyer Brown
  • Ricochet
  • Black Hawk
  • Marshall Tucker
  • Diamond Rio
  • Nitty Gritty Dirt Band
  • Bellamy Brothers
  • Alseep at the Wheel name just a few.

Keep in mind that Country is the band's focus, and if you are doing 35 to 40 outdoor shows a year along with county fairs, town celebrations, opening acts, and night clubs, a wide range of music is expected from this group - and they deliver!
